The Institute of Natural Resources (INR), took part in this festival at Wards Lake, Shillong Meghalaya. INR team Geo-tagged and monitor the blossoming of Cherry Blossom across the state. The following activities were carried out at the program:
- Engagement of Green Volunteers for Photo Tracking and online uploading of photos
- Photography Competition on Three categories: Professional Category, Amateur Category & Youngest Participant
The outcomes of the Programme is the promotion eco-tourism by showcasing unique selling points of this festival that it is the only Autumn Cherry Blossom Festival in the world.
