Hydroger installation at Napak Songma village in Songsak Block in East Garo Hills District by INR,Meghalaya on 22-02-2021

OBJECTIVES: Hydroger installation: To generate energy that is sustainable, renewable and environment friendly ;The Mission aims at harnessing green energy off-grid for un electrified villages, cottage based industrial units, Eco-Tourism Village, locality street lightings and so on which is cost effective in nature.

PARTICIPANTS: Green Energy-INR, Meghalaya

OUTCOME: Siju Medical Colony village is an unelectrified village not connected to the grid supply. The power generated from this source is being used for household lighting, community use like street lighting, school and church lighting. Also, it encouraged the villagers to preserve the catchment areas and water bodies, inculcated in them the responsible use of water and so on . Therefore the 3KW power generated from this Pico Turbine will be used for the following purposes: Village household and street lighting.
